There are two new opportunites for our Girls Hockey Program. First off I would like to announce that we will be holding girls only U-10/U-8 learn to play hockey/skate sessions starting January 10th and Janurary 13th respectively.
This session will be held on Sunday nights from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Lewis Ice Arena and Wednesdays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Aspen Ice Garden.
There will be a section of ice for those that are first timers and the rest of the ice we will be running skills and drills. This is a great opportunity to grow our Girls Hockey Program. So if you know anyone interested in learning to play or simply wanting to improve their hockey skills please give us a call or show up the rink on January 10th and 13th. This new program will run through February 24th.
If you would like to try hockey we will have equipment available and there will be no cost to try the sport for the first two sessions. After that there will be $10 per player/per session fee or you can purchase 14 sessions for $100.
Next, we will be holding skills clinics for both U-14 and U-12 starting on Saturday December 19th from 9-10:15 at the Ice Garden. The clinic on the 19th will be followed by clinics on January 9th, January 16th, and the final clinic for now will be held on the 23rd of January. These clinics will be run by a number of different coaches including Chuck Kessler, Michelle Claesson (Swedish Exchange), Elizabeth Severy (Mother Pucker), Tina Schairer (Mother Pucker) and sometimes myself. We are expecting everyone to attend and this will be a great way to improve your skills. See you around the rink.
Your Hockey Director,
Chris Lockrem
